Sir Ronald Aylmer Fisher was born on February 17 in 1890 in London, England. He lived his life in England and Australia. He died in Adelaide, Australia on July 29, 1962. Fisher was both a statistician and geneticist. He was first published in 1912 with his paper On an Absolute Criterion for Fitting Frequency Curves and some of his work is still being published posthumously with additions from other researchers in the corresponding fields. His application of statistics to Darwin's theory only lent it more support through a different point of view from another field of science. With even more evidence in support of Darwin's evolutionary theory it gained more people and scientists following it. Except some extreme religious groups and few others, most of today's public accept Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection as how the world progressed from the beginning to modern day.
